The Parisian posse La Femme turned us onto their synthy-surf-sounds through the Le Podium #1 EP. When we discovered they were planning an extended rampage through our coastal lands we invited them in for a live dublab “sprout session.” The resulting bouncy jams sound like a wave of shaking hips crashing down to a dance-floor that never stops spinning. As La Femme whipped up a whirlpool of frenzied fun Alex Pelly and her film companions from the Masses were on hand to capture the studio scenes using compact Digital Harinezumi cameras.
