Lindsay has a natural affinity for the visceral, transportative quality of music and draws from all genres, with emphasis on jazz, funk, Hawaiian pop and krautrock. During her tenure as the music director at KKCR, she deepened her approach to curation, cultivating a cohesive style that creates and underscores a sense of place. She is guided by a powerful respect for the art of radio, and strives for meaningful connection with her audience.
Originally from Venice Beach, Lindsay returns regularly from rural Kauaʻi to gig and enjoy the city. She currently hosts a weekly radio show on KKCR called The Avant Garden.
