Mahssa is a selector of records of the uncommon kind. Though her DJ sets are focused on “globally obscure and funky 45rpm recordings” from about 1968-1972, Mahssa’s musical tastes range in the 50 years surrounding that era in all genres light and dark. Her live, weekly dublab show “Mount Analog” will explore the wide territories of wild sounds that Mahssa seeks and also serve as a platform to invite guest DJ’s who operate on shared wavelengths.
