Mark Glynne is a British-born film sound designer based in the Netherlands. In addition to his work in film, Glynne has a background in experimental new wave music. Home Comfort (1980), his collaborative LP with Bart Zwier has recently been reissued by the Belgian experimental label La Scie Dorée. Originally moving to the Netherlands for postgraduate studies in art, he shifted via music into film sound design, where he has worked since the 1980’s. He has since been awarded two Dutch Film Academy Golden Calf awards for sound design.
