Part Time Punks DJ Michael Stock recorded a set dedicated to the sounds generated from Germany from the mid 70s to the early 80s, most of this falls under the name of Krautrock, but you know how it goes… the artists themselves probably consider their music to be just music, connected to the big map of sound exploration and intergalactic universe of genres. At the end is all part of the same, and this mix proves just that.
The mix was created for the the Krautrock Classics concert that was co-presented by DUBLAB and the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles at the Ford Amphitheater in Los Angeles, and originally presented by KCET’s Artbound.
