With the new album Hawk Deh Near out now on VLEK, Yannick Franck’s avant-dub project MT Gemini blends Jamaican forms like ska, rocksteady and dancehall with unorthodox electroacoustic approaches, working through deconstruction, mutation and fabulation rather than tradition or revival. This DJ set leans more into dub and contemporary electronic directions.
