This is a session with time in mind. It is an early morning improv set played live by Nick Rosen (bass), Matt Mayhall (drums) and Adam Zimmon (guitar) for the finale of dublab’s “Sounds of Symmetry” Proton Drive fundraiser. The trio of friends had never played in this configuration before but they connected to turn minds on fire and energize action in support of dublab’s mission. The session surges with the electric energy of master musicians who have shed the boundaries of standard structure to rise into new planes. This is the sound of awakening.
