Out There ~ a Field Recording Program
05.29.25

Voyage with dublab and Metabolic into new worlds. Each week we present a long-form field recording that will transport you through the power of sound.
This week we feature the sounds of the jack and bore team finishing up the bore-hole under the railroad tracks and placing the vitreous clay pipes that will carry water to the mother well at Metabolic Studio. We’ll hear Matt from California Auger Boring and Ron from Pacific Hydrotech speaking about their methods and experience, and also a geo-phone just 1½” into the ground picking up the sound of water 47′ below.
Tune-in, open up, and venture out there as we take excursions into evocative audio fields together.
