Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf first hit the decks way back in 1983 and hasn’t let up since. 2013 marks the 30th anniversary of his DJ career so we thought it would be fitting to look back on him looking back on looking forward. Let’s flash a decade in reverse to 2003……whoooosh…….PB Wolf rolls into the dublab studio armed with an array of his favorite wax from 1983 and graces our airwaves with a megamix of jams from the era of his DJ debut. We can imagine the youngster Wolf scratching these fresh electro and hip hop jams while other kids were watching paint peel off the walls and smearing boogers on the TV screen. Now that he’s grown and world famous, Peanut Butter Wolf is still wildly passionate about discovering new tunes. We hope to still be here several decades down the line to move backwards and forwards in musical time with PB Wolf on the dublab airwaves.
