Phil Mateo is a Los Angeles native, having been born in and raised all over the greater Los Angeles area. Yoga practitioner, vegan, engineer, DJ—are appropriate descriptors, but they only capture a small amount of his interests and hobbies. From Alice Coltrane to Zopelar and everything in between, he’s a connoisseur of all sounds and likes to mix a little bit of everything, but somehow always finds a way back to electronic music and various dance tunes. His best mix is the one he has yet to create.
