Post-punk garage-psych, that’s about right for BURGER Records right? It wouldn’t be a stretch to throw a pop in there. Alright, that’s what it is, post-punk garage-psych pop. It’s great feeling, genre’ing a band, like something tangible’s almost been accomplished.

The Prefab Messiahs, out of Worcester, MA, did the post-punk garage-psych pop thing between ’81-’83 and have found a good home at BURGER for their 27-track Devolver reissue. The track below, Prefab Sun, is a real pleasure to listen to so listen to it. They’ve also recently reunited for the first time in 30 years to record some new material, so watch out for that as well.
