Fantasy Dream Pop duo, Puro Instinct, is comprised of sisters Piper and Skylar Kaplan from Los Angeles, California. Combining ringing angelic textures with lush, danceable grooves, the composers began releasing material in 2008, followed by their debut LP on Brooklyn-based label, Mexican Summer, in 2011. Shortly after, Puro Instinct toured North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan, introducing their sound with the likes of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, John Maus, and others. Presently reenergized and refocused, the sisters are set out to release their sophomore LP, Autodrama, on Manifesto Records in 2016.
