To commemorate Rani’s 10 Year Anniversary show, he is joined by his friend and world-renowned artist Kibrom Birhane, who will be playing Ethiopian string instruments – krar, masenqo, and begena – live during the show. “It was fun to feed off each other’s energy during the episode. We would both play selections inspired by what we would hear each other playing.”
