On this month’s episode, Ravedad is joined by guest Shigecki.

Shigecki is a Japanese-Mexican artist hailing from Los Angeles. He grew up within the local music scene, through DJ’ing underground raves and playing in various independent bands throughout the years. Channeling energy from hyperactive environments, hard techno, drum and bass, he crafts sci-fi fantasy utopias through his music. Shigecki acts as the boundless creative project that extends beyond medium, cultivating collaborators that extend his work through virtual storytelling. A musical chameleon, Shigecki bends genres and crosses sonic rules through his experimentation with everyday technology. In 2021, he released his first EP, Growing Pains with Terrible Records and has since metamorphosed into an artist/DJ to watch. Shigecki has produced and written with A.G. Cook, Caro (of Planet 1999), CLIP, Alaska Reid, and Namasenda.
