Samvel Krajian is an Armenian American sound and media artist based in Los Angeles. Through work that is both intimate and expansive, Krajian employs sound as the guiding force in exploring the heterogeneity of identity and self in the post-digital era. Drawing from an eclectic mix of sounds and concepts, his work engages with both found and designed sonic material to architect self-referential experiences encompassing virtual and IRL spaces. In his upcoming project, “APAKI,” Krajian explores deep learning to serve as a collaborative agent in creating digital art and electronic sound processes. This platform enables artists to unleash their imagination and craft captivating works of art.
