Formed by members of the Los Angeles chapter, the shesaid.so Radio LA team aims to motivate, connect, and showcase the work of inspiring womxn worldwide. The monthly show will feature interviews and themed discussions exploring industry news, trends and womxn’s ever evolving forms of influence within the music ecosystem. Our conversations will cover the artist/manager relationship, interviews with top talent, tips on how breakout as a femme womxn promoter, and more. The second half of the show will include an exclusive mix or performance from some of shesaid.so LA’s favorite artists. KISSEY –
Stockholm-raised, NYC-based music producer KISSEY vibrates a charge of high voltage in her performances, original productions and DJ sets. Her record ‘Unplug The Delusional Monkey’ (Fool’s Gold) speaks about ego distortions and self empowerment. She has left her mark on Sundance film soundtracks (‘Dear White People’), art exhibitions (Sputniko! x GUCCI), fashion runway shows (Givenchy, Mukzin), and has a diverse catalog of remixes for the likes of DFA soulman Sinkane and underground rap diva Cakes Da Killa. KISSEY is also the founder of Generation Watts, a creative wellness & music production company. KISSEY describes her mix for SSSO as an electromagnetic body charge. Expect to hear sounds from Against All Logic, Kindness, Patrice Rushen and more.

NIKS –
Noods Radio host and DJ, NIKS, presents an hour-long journey into the raw, underground sounds of New York, Chicago and Detroit, with an ode to the Black female voices who have been integral in shaping this music and culture since its birth.

NIKS has notably played alongside Zenker Brothers, Skee Mask, OK Williams & more. Away from the decks, she is the face of Identification of Music and a core member behind Black Band Camp.
