The soulfulxnature label will be taking over the dublab airwaves once again! The show will be hosted by Odin featuring DJ sets by herself, Noriko Shakti, Lake Hills, & Treetalking.

Noriko Shakti is a Tokyo-raised producer, composer, and Tabla player. She completed her Indian Classical Music training and majored in Tabla (Traditional percussion) at a university in India. She started her career as a DJ in Tokyo where she was inspired by elements of heavy-bass sounds like Dub, Reggae, Hip-hop, Drum & Bass, and Breakbeats. Her interest in eclectic music brought her to India where she earned an M.A. in Tabla which is often referred to as the most difficult percussion instrument, under the Indian government scholarship. Now wrapping up her Ph.D. Over the past few years, Noriko has received support from Rolling Stone India, The New Indian Express, and more.

Odin, who some may know as “Odiespice”, is a producer/ DJ born and based in Los Angeles, CA. While on a mission to develop her sound, Odin has been immersed in the culture of live shows in Los Angeles, allowing her to draw inspiration for both DJing and music production. Beautifully blending deep, mesmerizing melodies with intricately hypnotic sound design, Odin is one of the burgeoning beatmakers of the LA beat scene. With each project, she translates universal emotions to create a nostalgic atmosphere in electronic music by incorporating elements of theory and self-expression.

Lake Hills, is a riverside-based artist, with a multidisciplinary focus on audio and visual works. Heavily inspired by elements of 90’s house music along with the cold atmospheres of techno and darker electronica. Lake Hills is a renowned visual artist known for their visual work for The Glitch Mob, Ivy Lab, and many more.

Treetalking, is an electronic musician/beat-maker based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Treetalking finds influence within many different styles and genres, but the underground warehouse music scene within his city played a major role in his evolution from more emotionally driven ambient-beats to the deep and upbeat psychedelic sonic environments he creates today. His compositions carry the listener through time and space while providing a hypnotizing tone that allows one to reflect their current state of emotion, and the endless possibilities within our universe.
