TMFD is an electronic music producer and DJ who grew up in Johannesburg, one of Africa’s biggest hubs for dance music. With a love for house and the sounds of the underground he started producing and playing records with a focus to get people moving. TMFD is part of The Mixed Feelings Music Label and resident DJ of the successful event series that throws parties in Los Angeles and other locations. His sound is a mixture of deep and soulful house that pays homage to Africa’s roots in electronic music and more. Most recently, TMFD has played at Los Globos and EL Cid in LA, Mexico City at Departamento and the iconic House of Blues in San Diego . TMFD has played with many great DJs including Masha Mar, Willy Soul and Jonny Sum. As an artist TMFD dropped his first EP ‘Space Designer’ in 2020 with his first single Price Tag jumping on Spotify’s New Music Friday South Africa playlist. His sound draws from his African roots and his love for the depth of electronic music.
