Joining Tottie this month for a b2b 2hr was DJ Richie Panic, a fixture/influence/problem in California nightlife for an unreasonably long time. From hysterical club nights to, late night warehouse meltdowns, he attracts the best and brightest of dance music maniacs to his parties (Lights Down Low Co-Founder) and DJ sets. He’s played in the best places on the worst sound systems, and the worst places on epic systems. Despite his endless misanthropy, he’s still called a “man of the people”. If it weren’t for music, he would probably live in a well-curated cave somewhere. Once, a guy came up to him at a party and said, “you’re that guy who plays house music, but every song is weird.” Good enough!
