This mix was made with LPs found between Chile and Mexico in a manner to pay homage to Roberto Bolaño’s literature for the infrarealist newspaper “Estrella Cercana” (Close Star) which was part of the exhibition of the same name held during the Autumn of 2011 in Mexico City’s Kurimanzutto Gallery. It is also an homage to Chilean psychedelic music and to the Chileans who, like Bolaño, lived, wandered and fantasized in the Mexico of the seventies. This mix is dedicated to the memory of Monna Bell.
