Truthworm is a Los Angeles born-and-raised, Argentinian-American curator and scholar with a passion for global networks of sonic exchange and experimentation. Their academic work has explored Afro-Uruguayan cultural production and community organizing in the context of wider flows of Afro-diasporic music and local folklore and identity.

As a curator, he weaves together traditional and experimental genres of Latin America and beyond: mixing samba, son, jazz, funk, and candombe with post-rock, experimental and psychedelia, slowcore, rock nacional (argentina), trip hop, and ambient.

They currently host El Entremedio on Portland’s KBOO community radio.
