Breeze-Man is the nom-de-plume for Los Angeles musician and amateur naturalist Evan Gall and a fitting one for his spry blend of pastoral melodies and inventive, often unexpected songwriting and production choices. The instrumentals on his latest album “Do It For The Aliens” are a fitting backdrop for his soulful, sometimes plaintive melismatic singing, his voice delicately and emphatically weaving through notes in melodically-rich phrases.
