This special podcast highlights artists Rema Ghuloum and Umar Rashid in conversation with curator Max Rippon, as part of Venice Family Clinic’s annual auction coming up on May 8 – 17.

Founded in 1970, Venice Family Clinic (VFC) is now a leading community health center that serves people in need from the Santa Monica Mountains through the South Bay. VFC has an expanding network of clinic locations, Early Head Start centers, and multiple mobile clinics, plus an extensive street medicine program to reach people experiencing homelessness. A team of more than 500 staff and 1,100 volunteers delivers care to 45,000 people with compassion, dignity and respect.

What began nearly 50 years ago as the Venice Art Walk, a one-day fundraiser, has grown into the Venice Family Clinic Art Exhibition + Auction—the longest running charity art exhibition in Los Angeles. This ten-day event honors our history and the extraordinary quality of the artists presented.
