Stride Breaker
05.25.25

The broken stride should lead to a pivot. For two hours, allow these provocations to pull you through thoughts of being and unbeing, seeing and unseeing, direction and maplessness. Let a current of illbient, poetry and DNB carry you out of the static of the day or night. Explore with Yves the contours of lyric, narrative, research and meditation through this active listening series. Stay on your toes for easy pivoting.
“we may be moved…sometimes we may dream…we might even think a little”
For this month, Stride Breaker pivots again into the surreal, hypnotic cosmos of Kwia, Berlin. This hybrid program features contributions by Triš, ether o, Cru Encarnação, Esper Moss and, your host, st. mozelle. Every single time I have the privilege of curating a night with my friends, I’m moved beyond words at their sensitivity and talent. Triš played some tracks that deeply inspire her and, also, selects from her thrilling new album ‘Songs’. ether o, who I hadn’t met before the event, did a reading during Esper Moss’ which flowed like a lullaby through the space. Cru Encarnação’s reading switched with ease between research and research findings to confessional and romantic poems. The night was fantastic, so we saved the audio for this month and did some fun edits with the one and only mu tate. Lots of goofy easter eggs in the mix, so please stay ALERT and enjoy another fantastic, hybrid program from your Stride Breakers in Berlin!
Thank you Triš, Cru Encarnação Esper Moss and ether o. You blew me away that night and i’m still spinning out about it!
