Monday evenings, Friendly Futures Radio floats and fills the dublab skies with Los Angeles musical enthusiasm with particular hip-hop diligence, new age headiness and certainly Silky sentimentality. Cornering and covering all of the communities within the community, future roots on full. All in transcribing details within the history. We love the history!

This week we had the pleasure of having Aria Rostami stop by the studio.

“Aria Rostami is a very promising young American musician. Aria started working solo in December of 2010 after a hiatus with his former band ‘Feie’. Coming from San Francisco, his music shares the same ebb and flow of his hilly and foggy city. With influences from ambient to IDM, from classical to noise, from traditional Persian tunes to Japanese contemporary music, Rostami’s work will either hit a note you like or an idea you would want to explore. His work follows a ‘beginning, middle and end’ structure that is influenced by films.”
