Steve Lindsey is an American record producer, music publisher, LA studio musician, and entrepreneur.

Steve’s career started in the late 70s playing on TV recording sessions including playing the synth lead on Jeopardy and arranging the theme to Wheel of Fortune and many others.

While also scoring cheap horror films and porn , he produced the documentary film of Larry Flynt's run for president in 1983.

Beginning in the 80s Steve worked as a session keyboardist for everyone from Rick James to Joni Mitchel, Brian Wilson to Elton John. After years of session work, Steve became a producer working with artists ranging from Leonard Cohen, Fishbone, Elton John, Billy Joel, Aaron Neville, Willie Nelson, Alice Cooper, Celine Dion , Marvin Gaye, The Temptations etc.

Steve started Blotter Music Publishing in the mid 90s creating one of the first hip hop publishing companies , signing Mike Elizondo, Jr Rotem, Brody Brown, Bruno Mars and Sasha Sloan, selling well over 100 million albums.

After decades of success, Steve and partner Steve Kofsky and Hans Zimmer created A Tone recordings and El Dorado records ……2 high end labels dedicated to Film and Television licensing …..with over 200 albums created, their music is heard everyday around the world.

Steve has spent the last 7 years working on his passion project "Skid Robot" and is going to share cuts from the 6 albums he has created. As he says  ….."I don't know what to say about it, you will either love it or hate it ……but at least you won’t say that’s pretty good.”
