SPNCR & Lady Tigra – guest session
Tuesday January 20, 2026
10:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Lady Tigra, best known as one-half of the iconic 1980s Miami bass duo L'Trimm, helped define the voice of a generation. With hits like "Cars That Go Boom", claimed by Jennifer Lopez to be one of her favourite songs, she became a trailblazer for women in rap and a fashion icon of the golden age of hip-hop, as well as earning her a feature on Yo Gabba Gabba!. After L'Trimm, Tigra evolved as a solo artist and cultural curator, remaining rooted in her love of rhythm, rebellion, and retro-futurism.
Spencer Nezey rose to fame as a founding member of the electro-hip-hop band Jupiter Rising, where he served as beatboxer, saxophonist, and producer. A genre-blending musician with deep roots in funk, jazz, and electronic music, his collaborations span indie to mainstream, always with a signature blend of live instrumentation and digital finesse.
Black Rice finds the duo blending 808s with analog synths, witty lyricism with lush harmonies, and a mellow West Coast attitude with intergalactic cool. The music at-large showcases the duo’s mission: to make music that’s fearless, feminine, and funky — the soundtrack to liberation, pleasure, and protest.
