Shane Thomas is a Los Angeles based DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist known for his genre-defying blends of experimental and global club, techno, house, jungle, dancehall, ballroom anthems, high-energy edits, and rave classics. His unique sonic landscapes set him apart in the club scene, creating an immersive experience on the dancefloor. As the founder and resident DJ of Sorbet, the underground he started in 2024, and Panic Room, his latest underground, Shane’s influence continues to grow. He’s played iconic parties such as Ostbanhof, Lights Down Low, Club Shy, Fade to Mind, Fixture, Bodyshop, Signal and Loose, to name a few. His impressive resume also includes opening sets for industry heavyweights like Kaytranada, LSDxoxo, Chippy Nonstop, Bambii, x3butterfly, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, Kingdom, Shygirl, Marina, and Violet Chachki, and even supported Beyoncé on her sold-out Renaissance World Tour. He also made his festival debut in 2025 at Skyline in Los Angeles. He currently has three self released singles and his debut album is due to release summer 2026. Shane is a rising icon in the queer nightlife scene, making waves as a talent to watch.

Drawing deep inspiration from the classic scenes of New York and Chicago, his sets are a seamless journey through time, where smooth, long-form mixes create vibrant, sonic environments that pay homage to the legacy of Black and queer house music, while maintaining a freshness that captivates modern audiences. Mez Monty’s talent has graced some of the most prestigious shows and clubs across the world. Notably, he was an opening DJ for Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, performing for both nights in Las Vegas— an achievement that underscores his rising prominence in the industry.
