Hailing from Paris, Simili Gum defines a new form of French electronic pop. His instrumentals and personal lyrics reveal a romantic sensibility, at times filled with uncertainty. These themes merge into a singular style, at the crossroads of electronic dance music, French "chanson," and cloud rap. Simili Gum unveiled his first EP Pacifyer in 2020 on White Garden. In 2021, Simili Gum released 4 noticed tracks, as well as collaborations with artists like Caro♡ from PC Music, or Basile3 from InFiné. On stage, he has toured as an opener for Oklou on her EU Galore tour. Simili Gum’s music has appeared in various French and international media, such as CRASH Magazine, KIBLIND Magazine, DUMMY Mag, TSUGI, XLR8R, Visual Melt, and more, and recurrently described as one of the most innovative and progressive emerging artist to watch. In 2022, he released his compilation Prepa21 on Preference Records.
