ALEX SEAVER
Alex Seaver represents a rare force in today’s music landscape. From releasing studio albums under his artist project Mako, to scoring for League of Legends and its hit Netflix series Arcane, to writing and producing for major pop acts, Seaver brings a distinctive versatility across genres and mediums. A Juilliard-trained musician turned EDM artist, songwriter, and executive music producer, his work blends classical training with cutting-edge sound design.
The first season of Arcane was a breakout success—topping Netflix’s charts for three consecutive weeks and earning Seaver his first Emmy nomination. Its genre-spanning soundtrack featured performances from Sting, Woodkid, Pusha T, and Bea Miller, whose “Playground” has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. “Everything was handcrafted, bespoke, and carefully threaded together,” says Seaver.
Returning for Season 2, Seaver stepped into an expanded role as Executive Producer of the soundtrack, shaping its 22 tracks with contributions from global stars like Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park, Young Miko, Stray Kids, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The season was once again an audience and critical success, with Seaver’s musical world-building helping anchor the show’s emotional arc. His own song, “What Have They Done To Us,” performed under his Mako alias, serves as a deeply personal centerpiece.
Seaver began Mako in 2011 and quickly rose in the dance world, collaborating with Avicii, Alan Walker, and Illenium, and releasing critically acclaimed albums like Fable (2019). Simultaneously, his work with Riot Games on League of Legends tracks like “Legends Never Die” (Platinum-certified) and “Rise” (Gold-certified) further cemented his reputation as a go-to for emotionally charged, high-impact anthems.
“Arcane has let me bring every part of my creative identity into one place,” Seaver says. “Season 2 is even more ambitious—deeper character work, bigger sonic worlds. I’ve never felt more aligned with a project.”
