A personal and soft quilt of sonic care and love documenting a curation of tracks included in Callie’s birthing playlist. These songs are stitched together by tender and precious field recordings documenting the first few weeks of new life. As we witness times of immense oppression - here in Los Angeles, in Minneapolis, in Gaza, Iran, throughout the Middle East, Sudan, and beyond, I hope that this how can act as a companion accompanying your thoughts and actions as we work toward a world where all children, caretakers, and beings are safe, nourished, free of the presence of war, able to be fed, held, and cared for by their loved ones - never separated from those that make them feel safe.

Included in this episode are mentions of organizations / collectives prioritizing both the protection and support of those experiencing danger and harm at the hands of ICE and other oppressive forces.
