LAUNCH IN NEW WINDOW

I bought the self-titled Secos e Molhados album in Sao Paulo Brasil from a guy selling records out of a cardboard box. It cost me the equivalent of 25 cents and I have ever since been eternally stoked. The tune “Amor” is one of the most exuberant soft-psych love songs my ears have enjoyed. I was ultra-excited to stumble upon this scratchy video for two other awesome tunes from the album “Sangue Latino” and “O Vira.” What makes this weird scene so extra weird is how simple the setting is. These are just three freaks freaking. As the guitarists are strumming in their best disco bloomers and circus makeup Ney Matogrosso is hopping and flopping like a Navajo dancer possessed by a transvestite alien. Wow wow wow!
