Storage Container: Safety and Rest for Every Sentient Spirit and Bodily Container

10.28.23

A mix series utilizing sonic exploration to acknowledge bodily systems as containers storing the ability to transform/transport + absorb/release nutritive input and stimuli.

Safety and Rest for Every Sentient Spirit and Bodily Container – our bodies a vessel for dreaming and acting into new worlds.

A moment of solace and quiet wrapped up in tender noises filled with the dripping sentiment of our interdependence with nature and with one another.

May this curation be a meditation on the fluidity of the melting of our bodies into one helping us to see that no one is safe until we are all safe.

Sounds to soothe and to ease the nervous system back into a place of function and clarity… may our insides feel warm and moving so that our hearts can be open wide enough to see beyond binaries and swim in the rainbow-y gray pool of learning/unlearning, and to live and breathe in the balance of grief alongside resistance.

May this be an offering of grounding so that we may all push forward with both softness and strength in order to break down walls, dismantle systems of harms, and prioritize the safety of every being, land, body of water, microbe, and animal.

May these noises, readings, and foggy mixes offer clarity amongst fear and rooting amidst pain.

May we hold hands as we rush forward towards liberation, prioritizing safety and rest for every sentient spirit and bodily container – our bodies a vessel for dreaming and acting into new worlds.

In these new worlds built off of mutual aid, care, and interdependence no one is afraid of harm being committed to self or loved ones, freedom being taken away due to lack of power, fear of physical impact, and / or the sensation of being without water and nourishment.
