Edgar C. A Los Angeles native born and raised in the East L.A. and San Gabriel Valley areas, Edgar has been part of the L.A. underground and House Music scene since 1987 getting exposed to house music by his older brother Bert, and close friend and mentor DJ Fabián Vangeli of Marylin’s Backlot and Circus Disco/Arena fame. He’s worked as a House Music specialist at 2 of L.A.’s most prominent DJ stores, Prime Cuts Record in West Hollywood, and Beat-Non-Stop Records on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Over the years he’s DJ’d at many local house clubs in L.A. including “Club Get It!” in Downtown L.A. (Score Bar), Does Your Mama Know (DYMK), “The Graveyard Shift” afterhours in Hollywood, Danny B.’s “High Society” , “Marylin’s Disco” at Arena Cafe, Circus Disco, and many other local events.
