Santuario is your sanctuary for deep electronic beats ranging from house music, electro and techno music, featuring music from underground labels throughout the world. This is a holy place for the music that drives us all.
This month’s episode features special guest Miguel Solari.
Miguel Solari, known as Miguel23 or Solprovider, has been a vinyl DJ and underground dance music tastemaker since 1995. He’s originally a Chicago/Detroit transplant that left his mark in San Francisco thru the curation of the legendary weekly, HousepitalitySF. His sound elapses from the soulful, jak-centric Chicago house realms to the timeless mechanical edges of Detroit techno, filtered through the vibes of an after-hours journey. Early inspiration from legendary mixes by Derrick Carter and Mark Farina on WNUR fueled his passion for mixing vinyl. After cutting his teeth in Detroit and Chicago’s underground circuits, he redefined Bay Area nightlife with the 11-year curation of his cult event, Housepitality SF. He’s now shapeshifting at Sirena Negra Records and continues to consolidate vinyl sets that blend raw energy and innovative mixing alchemy that keeps the spirit of underground dance music and the turntable, alive.
