Her Vision Her Voice is a radio show celebrating the voices of women, women of color, and women in the LGBTQ+ community who are redefining the music and film industries. Hosted by Elyn Kazarian, the show features bold conversations with trailblazers who have turned obstacles into opportunities, using their vision to amplify their voices and inspire change. Paired with a dynamic, hand-curated soundtrack in the first hour by Elyn, Her Vision Her Voice is a space for resilience, creativity, and empowerment to take center stage.

Jharae “J.J.” Jordan-Anderson is a self-taught filmmaker who fell in love with the connective power of storytelling while attending her parents’ NA & AA meetings as a kid. The witnessing of such vulnerable exchanges inspired her focus on creating loving representations of Black and Brown youth, as well as grown folks of color in the media. After graduating from Cal State Northridge, she co-founded the Los Angeles production company HRDWRKER, creating impactful work for organizations like LACMA, ARRAY, and the Studio Museum in Harlem.
Her debut feature, Sacred Soil: The Piney Woods School Story, produced with Andscape, is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+. She also recently premiered her first solo museum exhibition, Sometimes I Feel Like I Am Almost Home, at the California African American Museum.
