Encarnación is an LA-based DJ. She regularly hosts DJ events around Los Angeles at venues such as Club Tee Gee, Checker Hall, The Friend Bar, De Buena Planta, Cha Cha Lounge, and more. Known for her eclectic taste, Encarnación has an affinity for upbeat international styles such as highlife, cumbia, tropicalia, and italo, as well as ambient, post-rock, techno, and shoegaze. Encarnación attributes her love for music to the karaoke machine that was gifted to her by her parents at age 6. It came with a disco light.
