This month is a special episode with Boysnoize Records for the release of Pilo’s EP.
PILO
Pilo is the main musical output of Los Angeles based producer, composer and sound designer, Cameron Ward. Fusing sounds from a wide gamma of influences ranging from techno and electro to industrial, ambient and beyond, Pilo presents a unique conceptualization of various genres and styles merged by his own signature voice. Whether it’s through the warm but puncturing bass sounds that define his dancefloor-oriented material or the oceanic and transcendental aural landscapes contrasted against stochastic drum patterns that are presented throughout his more leftfield work, Pilo’s music resonates with the senses, mind and body symbiotically through the vast amalgamation of emotions, environments and textures that define his sonic palette.
UNKLEVON
Unklevon is a producer based in France, signed on Boys Noize’s label: BNR. He was discovered during the Astropolis festival in 2018. He has since released tracks on Boys Noize Records but also on Jensen Interceptor’s label « International Chrome » in collaboration with Salome, but also on Dôme, the Astropolis festival label, and Nastia’s label « Nechto ».
Unklevon is considered one of the French newcomers to follow on the electro scene. Lucas performs live and offers his own universe mixing robotic voices, Detroit elektro & modern techno, which has allowed him to play all over France.
He is resident for Tsugi Magazine (Tsugi Radio) with his monthly program « Elektric Mansion » where he receives artists from the international scene. Early 2022 he participated in the French tour of Boys Noize.
In March 2022 he released a remix for the last EP of Djedjotronic. His latest EP was released on BNR in digital and vinyl with a collaboration with Brodinski. Playlisted on BBC RADIO 1, NTS, Rinse France or Tsugi Radio, his next EP will come in the next few months.
