45 Live Radio Show
04.04.25

Greg Belson, a highly respected, LA-based DJ on the rare soul/funk scene, hosts the monthly dublab show 45 Live. It’s about the love of music, the love of vinyl and having an excellent old time of it. Whatever you do, keep it 45.
45 Live is a collective of DJs from across Europe and the USA who have come together to indulge in and celebrate their love of the mighty 45rpm 7″ single. Hailing from all corners of popular and niche music scenes, the love of the 45 is what drew them all together. Created by UK based DJs Boca 45 and Pete Isaac, 45 Live is fast growing into a record label, festival circuit and events brand, and regular club night session.

We’re excited to continue in a mini-series of broadcast sessions here at the 45 Live Radio Show Los Angeles. Each will focus on the sounds and plays all sourced on original vinyl, that are currently coming out of underground clubland across the UK.
This is: CLUB COLLECTORS, with my guests, 3 members of the RHYTHM, SOUL & FUNK Crew: Big Col, Caroline Mansell, and Paul Roberts
RS&F is more than a club. It’s a movement borne out of COVID and the necessity to livestream to share our passion for music with one another. Initially the brainchild of Caroline “Mamma” Dann, Big Col & Pete McNally, RS&F started life livestreaming on Facebook
Live every Friday, when the globe went into lockdown.
Not long after its inception, Sean Pumfrett joined the crew as tech guru, and RS&F took their sound to Mixcloud Live where they’ve continued broadcasting today. The sessions joined the dots to other DJ’s and collectors on a truly worldwide scale. Lovers of soul music collided for the first time from all over the UK, United States, Iceland, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Colombia and more. Bi-annual Weekender gatherings blossomed when lockdown was lifted, which fast cemented itself as one of the go to events for forward thinking fans of soul music. An event where often new discoveries are aired for the first time, and pave the way for others to add to their collections.
Expect audio curveballs a’plenty, served up with a high octane sensibility, which makes any Rhythm Soul & Funk outting an essential session for those craving new and exciting sounds. Folks from around the globe physically travel to the UK for their events, and for good reason…
Hosted by Greg Belson, CLUB COLLECTORS will set the tone and shine a light on DJ’s that put in the legwork to find the next undiscovered discovery.
It’s the future now sound of then…and when you hear the show, that’ll make perfect sense.
This is 45 Live!
