dublab celebrated 24 years of future roots radio with a 24 hour party and broadcast, live from the Music Center Plaza in Downtown LA. The party began at 6pm on Friday, September 29, 2023, and went til 6pm on Saturday the 30th.
Hoseh, Derelict, and Morpho are 3 of dublab’s founding DJs who all still have regular shows on dublab.
DJ Hoseh is a Los Angeles native that has been a part of the city’s music culture fabric for nearly 30 years. With roots at KXLU 88.9 FM, he is a founding member of Dublab.com and actively selects tunes throughout the city at a variety of events and venues. The music he shares is multi-dimensional and uses a broad palette of past, present and futuristic sounds from all over the world and beyond.
As the host of the dublab radio program Damage Control, Derelict has been pulling selections from dusty crates since 1999. Prior to dublab, he spent his formative DJ years at the U.S.C. student radio station KSCR. He’s currently working for a music agency, where he provides licensing, curation and creative sound solutions for a variety of clients.
Bryan Younce is Senior Vice President of Video Production at Columbia Records, where he has made music videos, documentary work and other visual content for artists such as DAVID BOWIE, BOB DYLAN, ADELE, BEYONCE’, LEONARD COHEN, PHARRELL, SOLANGE, MGMT, TYLER, THE CREATOR, EARL SWEATSHIRT, JOHN LEGEND, NINE INCH NAILS, DJ SNAKE & LIL JON, TENACIOUS D, and numerous others. He previously worked at Showtime and the Los Angeles Film Festival. A founding member of dublab.com, he co-created the series A LABRAT MATINEE and co-directed SECONDHAND SURSESHOTS.
