Chelsea Jade parlayed her career as a jingle writer in Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand into a career as a pop songwriter in LA. She has released 2 records under her own name and has most recently directed music videos for Deafheaven and Night Party.

“I was briefly back in my hometown in New Zealand and came across a lot of great artists in the local scene like Womb, 花溪 Flowerstream and Phoebe Rings. They sound sublime alongside what I would consider personal classics, both old and new. Including one from Silicon – the architect of my all time favorite NZ record “Personal Computer”.
