Sean Dishman is a Los Angeles-based music enthusiast, executive and Senior Director, Creative at Kobalt Music, the leading independent global music publishing and rights administration company. In his role, Sean has played a key part in shaping Kobalt’s artist roster and creative direction over the last decade, signing and working closely with acclaimed artists including Madison Cunningham, Mac DeMarco, Hannah Cohen, Jamila Woods, Cuco, Magdalena Bay, Folk Bitch Trio, Dorian Electra, Little Dragon, John Carroll Kirby, TV On The Radio, Mannequin Pussy, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Whitney, among others.
Dishman’s journey in the music industry began in 2013 when he joined Kobalt as an intern while studying Songwriting at Berklee College of Music. Sean’s taste and heart-forward approach has led him to shape both the company’s global team and the careers of the artists he supports.
