Masha digs deep into the abyss of tones, drones, dubs, clubs, riddims and rhythms, smooth grooves and deep moves. Sometimes it’s a solo mission, and occasionally rad guests co-pilot on board.
DAVE AJU
Dave Aju just released his new homecoming LP TXLAX on Tokyo’s esteemed Mule Musiq, following three full-length concept albums praised and award-nominated for their originality on Parisian imprint Circus Company, a wide variety of remixes and special EP releases for labels such as Ostgut Ton, Music For Freaks, and Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Records, a long history of DJ and live performances at renown international venues from Fabric and Panorama Bar to the Sonar and MUTEK festivals, as well as regular contributions to tastemaker programs like Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide BBC show, Dave Aju now finds himself in an accomplished and satisfied creative zone at home in Los Angeles. Forever in the lab developing new material, while also working behind the scenes on a variety of projects in the mighty Machine Limited studios (formerly the Beastie Boys’ Grand Royal/G-son studio), teaching production courses to future generations at Hollywood’s Musician Institute, running his Greasy Listening mix series that promotes like-minded artists’ upcoming works and preparing the anticipated new parent label Elbow Grease.

TAVISH
Son of a choir director and a record-junkie, Tavish was born and raised in Venice CA, cutting his teeth in the music industry at a young age. Notoriously secretive; he’s produced tracks for well-known rap acts; names he usually leaves cloaked in mystery, but in the last 6 years he’s nourished a different pursuit in his beloved warehouse scene of Los Angeles. Having been part of the underground for more than half his life, he’s recently prolifically presented his deejaying and production to a fervent warehouse audience. Alongside TK (of Split Secs) he’s created a new production team (Warehouse Preservation Society) which had 7 releases in 2018-19 alone, namely a remix for Daniele Baldelli, which appeared on DJ Harvey’s Mercury Rising Vol II. He’s played alongside Psychemagik, Man Power, Powder, Moscoman, Tornado Wallace, and his dear amigos, Heidi and Lovefingers, and has been a part of both the Sunset and Dusk Festivals. He’s been anointed by the cult DJs of the LA circuit as a leader and a mainstay. His sets span the limits of industrial disco and acid house and reflect his deep love of music and dance.
