APEX (Asia Pacific Exports) focuses on delivering music from the deepest corners of the globe; the Asia Pacific. Run by Chinese-New Zealander DJ, Jess Fu, APEX welcomes guest DJs from across the Asia Pacific and it’s diaspora. The show dives into all genres from all centuries; from disco to indie rock, to electronic to traditional, indigenous music.
Sonya Ishimnikova aka Modniy is a sound artist and producer from the Ural Mountains currently residing in Pōneke. Modniy collects and composes music inspired by nature using organic melodies, rhythms and scintillating synth harmonies. She hosts Multivitamin; a fortnightly show on Mouthfull Radio broadcasting a mixture of folk, jazz and ambient finds from across the globe. Her dublab mix brings together a trove of synth-pop, experimental and new-age gems illuminating decades of sonic evolution and nostalgia.
