Richard Fearless began as resident DJ at the Job Club in London’s Soho during the 90s, where he played alongside the likes of Detroit’s Claude Young, Dave Angel and his hero Andrew Weatherall. After a few years he was picked as a resident for the legendary Heavenly Social, alongside the Chemical Brothers. It was during this time that he started the band, Death in Vegas.

Fearless currently runs his label Drone and the two club nights he co-founded: goo with Daniel Avery, which sees the friends dive into the trippier end of their record collections and HOLY, the dub futurism club he runs with Tom Dubwise. Fearless’ cult radio show Metal Box is now in its fifth year on dublab.

On this month’s Metal Box, Richard Fearless dives into a record box he took recently to the hallowed grounds of Hamburg’s Golden Pudel. Then closing the show, masterful storyteller, Tokyo DJ, Gonno, delivers a live dj mix, recorded at a Jugaar Records party in Tokyo last weekend.
