Amantes del Futuro is Mexican composer and producer Immanuel Miralda aka Ima Fellini’s first project which he began his experiments in Cumbia in 2002. Ima Felini initiated the collective La Super Cumbia Futuristica and has participated in groups including Sonido Changorama, Los Wendys, Isidro Cuevas y Willy Cabañas and others. Amantes del Futuro distills all those years of experimentation and Cumbia studies, basing its sound on its favorite styles: Colombian Cumbia, Sonidera, Rebajada, Editada or Wepa, Poblana, Villera and Chicha, always looking for futurism, evolution and the intersection between electronic music and this legendary rhythm. Amantes del Futuro has released music on various labels in Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the US and has toured throughout Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, China, and the US.
