On this month’s episode, Xen Model is joined by guest Nick Jersey.
Nick Jersey is a progressive electronic, ambient based artist in Los Angeles. his music is described as a type of ambient soul music-with classical cadences, trance influence, downtempo rhythms, and desert-like sound collages/plunderphonics.
His additional project, DJ Nick Jersey, has been exercised online and around the Los Angeles rave scene since 2019 – dance music with distorted swelling rhythms and soundscapes, or summed up as “noise trance.”
These two alter egos, Nick Jersey and DJ Nick Jersey, allow him to exist in a duality of sorts, with separate visions and expression. Nick Jersey’s next album features an array of his manipulated vocals and lyricism over desolate, progressive ambient and sonic story telling.
