Hailing from the South Pacific isles of New Zealand, Jess Fu brings a whole new perspective to the concept of world music. Before moving to Los Angeles, Jess hosted the new-music-show on New Zealand’s biggest independent radio station, 95bFM. She also worked as a music journalist for publications such as Under the Radar and NOISEY.

Jess takes a trip back to the 20th century and does a deep dive into the submerged sounds of the Asia Pacific. Showcasing folk, rock and pop songs from Hawaii, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, China and more.
